I picked up my first proper camera in 2018—not because I wanted pretty pictures, but because I wanted to identify birds. Because nothing says cool like lurking in the bushes with a camera.
Fast forward seven years, and photography’s now my full-time gig—which is lucky, because I’ve got a camera glued to my hand, I chase light like it owes me money, and I absolutely cannot watch a sunset without silently composing it in my head.
During the week, I photograph rescue pets and the people who give them a second chance at Animal Welfare League Queensland. It’s work that fills my heart and has given me the creative freedom to try every photography technique I stumble upon with subjects who never judge.
My biggest belief about photography is it should be fun. Having photos taken should feel easy, natural, and full of good energy. That’s how we create the kind of images you’ll actually love looking back on.
If that sounds like your vibe, I’d love to hear from you.
